Organisation and positions

District Chief
Empowered by the City Mayor and acts according to the guidance and supervision of the Chief of the Bureau of Civil Affairs, as well as being in charge of district administration and command and supervise fellow staff members.


Chief Secretary
Act as a deputy to implement tasks delegated by the District Chief.


Civil Affairs and Humanity Section
In charge of autonomous administrations, elections, district-level disaster prevention and relief, village activity center management, promote environmental health and sanitation, mediation ser-vices, funeral services, folk customs and religious rituals and ancestor worship guilds, military service administration, land ad-ministration, 37.5% arable rent reduction, civil defense, non-urban land control, indigenous people and Hakka affairs, library management, national education, sports, cultural and arts, cele-brations and festivals, heritage sites and historical docu-ments, tourism promotion, and other civil administration and cul-tural affairs.


Social Affairs Section
In charge of social administration, social support, social welfare, social development, medical support, emergency assistance, sup-port for med/low-income households, National Health Insurance, consultation for civil groups, homeless shelter and consultation, community care and support, sheltering of disaster victims or senior citizens without supporting relatives, labor administration, employ-ment counseling, and other social administration tasks.


Agricultural and Construction Section
In charge of investigation and management of agricultural, forestry, fishing, and pastoral affairs, agricultural promotion, construction, traffic management, water works and road construction, building construction, maintenance, street lamps and road trees manage-ment, construction and maintenance of sports venues and activity centers, inspection and reporting of illegal buildings, park mainte-nance and administration, parking lots administration, industrial and business management, and other agricultural and construc-tion affairs.


Administration Office
In charge of documentation, seals, records, routine affairs, meet-ings, billing, evaluation and research, information, legal affairs, pub-lic relations, and other affairs that are not section specific.


Personnel Office
Implement HR management in compliance to the relevant laws.


Accounting Office
Implement annual budgeting, accounting, and statistics in compliance to the relevant laws.


Civil Service Ethics Office
Implement civil service ethics in compliance to the relevant laws.。

Directions
Southbound drivers
Freeway No. 1: Exit at Madou Interchange and head towards Madou / Jiali. Make a slight right turn at Sinsheng South Road, then turn right at Minquan Road (Taiwan 19A) and continue along Taiwan 19A. Make a slight left turn at Jianguo Road.


Freeway No. 3: Exit at Shanhua Interchange. Head towards Shanshang / Shanhua. Make a right turn at Chenggong Road / 178 County Expressway. Keep left along Dacheng Road / Dacheng Road Bridge / 178 County Expressway and continue along Dacheng Road / 178 County Expressway. Make a right turn at Jianguo Road.


Northbound drivers
Freeway No. 1: Exit at the Anding Interchange. Head towards Anding / Shanhua. Make a right turn and head along 178 County Expressway. Then go along Jhongshang Road / Taiwan 19A, continue onwards along Jhongshan Road, then make a left turn at Jianguo Road.
Freeway No. 3: Exit at Shanhua Interchange. Head towards Shanshang / Shanhua. Make a right turn at Chenggong Road / 178 County Expressway. Keep left along Dacheng Road / Dacheng Road Bridge / 178 County Expressway and continue along Dacheng Road / 178 County Expressway. Make a right turn at Jianguo Road.
For those taking the train, alight at Shanhua Station, walk about 850 meters along Jhongshan Road, then make a right turn at Jianguo Road.
